IB Security Assistant MT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates had to meet the following requirements to apply for the post.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized Board of Education.
Driving License: Possession of a valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority.
Motor Mechanism Knowledge: The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle.
Driving Experience: Experience of driving a Motor Car for at least one year after obtaining a valid driving license.
Domicile Certificate: Possession of domicile certificate of the state against which the candidate has applied.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on September 28, 2025. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBC, and other relaxations as per government rules.
IB Security Assistant MT Selection Process
The selection process had two stages.
Tier-I Online Examination: This was an objective type exam with 100 questions for 100 marks. The exam had five parts: General Awareness, Basic Transport and Driving Rules, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical and Analytical and Logical Ability and Reasoning, and English Language. Each part had 20 questions. The duration was 1 hour. There was negative marking of one fourth mark for each wrong answer.
Tier-II Motor Mechanism and Driving Test cum Interview: This was qualifying in nature with 50 marks. Candidates were required to drive a motor vehicle as instructed. Practical knowledge about the vehicle and removal of minor defects was also tested. The qualifying marks for Tier-II was 20 out of 50.

The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I exam were as follows:

Final selection is subject to successful completion of character and antecedent verification followed by medical examination.

Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Level-3 in the pay matrix with Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month. In addition, they will receive special security allowance at 20 percent of basic pay and other admissible central government allowances. Cash compensation is also given in lieu of duty performed on holidays. The post carries all India transfer liability.
