NCET scorecard

The NTA NCET 2026 is a national-level entrance exam for admission into the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) . Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 can apply. The exam was held on 17th and 18th April 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Selected candidates will study at prestigious institutes like IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Central Universities. After completing the 4-year dual degree (BA+B.Ed, B.Sc+B.Ed, or B.com+B.Ed), graduates can become teachers in government schools, KV, NV, and state education departments. The starting salary ranges from ₹35,000 to ₹55,000 per month depending on the institute and government pay scale.
