UGC NET June 2026 – Apply Online at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
The UGC NET June 2026 notification has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The online application process started on 29 April 2026 and will continue till 20 May 2026. Candidates can apply online at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The exam will be conducted from 22 June to 30 June 2026 in Computer Based Test mode for 85 subjects. The exam city details will be announced by 10 June 2026 and admit cards will be available by 15 June 2026. The application fee is Rs. 1150 for General category, Rs. 600 for General EWS and OBC NCL, and Rs. 325 for SC, ST, PwD and Third Gender candidates. UGC NET is conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges. The exam consists of two papers with no break between them. Paper 1 has 50 questions for 100 marks and Paper 2 has 100 questions for 200 marks. There is no negative marking.
